How SmartSOS Works:
- Crash Detection: The MPU6050 6-axis IMU continuously samples acceleration and rotational velocity. When an impact curve exceeds calibrated thresholds, the algorithm triggers.
- False-Alarm Suppression: A loud audible buzzer beeps for 15 seconds. If the drop was minor (e.g. dropped bike or dropped helmet), the rider taps the cancel button.
- Autonomous Dispatch: If not cancelled, the SIM800L cellular module immediately transmits an emergency SMS containing real-time Google Maps GPS coordinates to 3 designated contacts and local response dispatch.
